Belize is a small country located on the western edge of the Caribbean Sea. It is bordered to the south and west by Honduras and to the north by Mexico. It is small in size and has a population of roughly 350,000 people, made up of Mexican, White, Mayan, Indigenous Indian and Blacks. Most of the people speak English and over 75% of them work in the tourism business in one way or another.

The mainland is mostly rural with mountains and jungles full of ancient Mayan Ruins. The majority of the population lives in Belize city. There are hundreds of miles of shoreline on the mainland and even more making up the more then 200 islands dotting the coastal region.

The main island is Ambergris Caye, which includes the city of San Pedro. About 20,000 people live, work and play on this tourist attraction. The island is well known for its incredible SCUBA diving, snorkeling, parasailing, fishing and sailing among its warm, swimming pool like waters. It is also quickly becoming a hot spot with investors in Belize Real Estate.

To get around on the island, people walk, bike, rent taxis or rent golf carts. San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize Golf Cart Rental is the best place to rent a cart.

The island is home to dozens of resorts, all beachfront of course. A few are all inclusive, but all of them are beautiful with breathtaking views of the Caribbean. Your vacation is never long enough and you will begin thinking of ways to quit your life back home and move here, as over 2,000 other expats have done in the last decade.

Besides its many beautiful resorts, Belize is also well known for its offshore banking accounts and as a place for asset protection.

Table Rock Jungle Lodge is a beautiful, clean, relatively inexpensive and a dream come true for most vacationers. From your resort, you are minutes away from seeing ancient Mayan ruins, going cave tubing or zip lining, riding horseback through mountain trails, hiking jungle paths to hidden waterfalls or participating in the many water sports activities.
