El Pescador Resort
El Pescador Resort is a family-oriented, fishing resort located on the beach on Ambergris Caye, about 2 miles north of San Pedro. The owners, the staff and their families all live at the resort, which definitely gives it a home away from home feel. Many of their guests return year after year and feel like they are part of the “Pescador Resort Family”. They offer both fishing and dive packages. The 14 guest rooms were recently renovated and expanded, which provides each guest with a larger, more modern experience. All rooms are beachfront, ground-floor, next to the pool and offer an amazing Caribbean Sea view with daily ocean breezes. There are also 8 private villas that come in 1, 2 or 3 bedroom configurations. They offer seclusion, full kitchens and spacious living areas and bedrooms.

Food and Dining at El Pescador Resort
Their restaurant’s specialty is local, fresh Caribbean cuisine. The meals are served outdoor on their deck or in their casual dining room. Guests dine together at dinner to create a friendly atmosphere and so they can share the day’s adventures. They feature a buffet or a choice of two entrees for dinner. You can join others for appetizers starting at 3 pm in the bar.

Fishing with El Pescador Resort
As the name indicates ( in Spanish “The Fisherman”), the El Pescador Resort specializes in fishing. Belize is fast becoming one of the most popular places on the planet to fish. It is probably because they offer so many different fish to catch as well as different styles of fishing. From this single resort, you can go fly fishing, reef fishing or deep sea fishing, all within minutes on a boat from our dock. You can go for the Grand Slam of fishing here by catching bonefish, snook, tarpon and permit. Or go outside the reef and get in some deep sea fishing and catch tuna or wahoo. Fish along the reef and you can catch barracuda or king fish.

After you have gotten in enough fishing, El Pescador Resort offers many other activities. You can enjoy the barrier reef and the amazing snorkeling or SCUBA diving it offers or sail above it all and experience the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean. They also offer Eco Adventures to the mainland where you can discover the Ancient Mayan Ruins, go cave tubing or even manatee watching.
