Gaia Riverlodge

Gaia Riverlodge Resort

Located in the scenic Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve, Gaïa Riverlodge is one of Belize’s most celebrated ecotourist destinations. Inspired by the property’s natural beauty, the resort overlooks spectacular waterfalls located right on the grounds of the lodge. The sparkling clear water of the nearby river, the shimmering spray of the falls and the contrasting green of the forest are accentuated by the lodge’s beautiful landscaping, which showcases a wide array of indigenous bushes and trees, flowers and orchids.

Gaïa Riverlodge ensures easy access to our gorgeous waterfalls either by simply walking down the stairs or by means of Belize’s only hydro-powered rain forest tram. Once you arrive at the freshwater pools, the fun begins! You can swim in the clear waters of the river that’s just a stone’s throw away from your cabana, or relax in the sun on our tiny river-island retreat.

Perhaps best of all, the lodge’s central location makes touring Belize easy. Many of Belize’s most sought-after attractions, such as the country’s Mayan ruins, are just a day trip away. Plus, the area offers a tantalizing array of activities, from zip-lining and cave exploration, to horseback riding on wilderness trails and boating along a local river.

Gaia Riverlodge Accommodations

Perched atop the edge of a valley overlooking the Five Sisters waterfalls, Gaïa Riverlodge offers a choice of 16 beautifully appointed private cabanas ranging in size and location.
